At least four people have been reported dead in a series of blasts in the Indonesian capital,Jakarta which was followed by gunfire.
The explosions were reported to have occurred outside the Sarinah shopping centre, close to the presidential palace and UN offices. Accordion to a UN official close to the scene the gunfire is currently ongoing.
Police have said they believe this is a bomb attack. There is no indication yet of who might be behind the assault.
A Reuters photographer said one explosion had been at a Starbucks cafe, with its windows blown out.
He said police appeared to be aiming guns at a man on the roof of the building.
